ILS, in the grand scheme of the industry, is a relatively new company.  However, it is founded in deep roots and tradition.  The core companies that founded ILS have been around since 1962 (Ward Feedyard) and 1959 (Great Bend Feeding).  The senior staff at ILS is an average age of 41 yrs and a combined ag-business experience of more than 120 years.  Our feedyard managers have an average age of 43 years and combined experience of 113 years of managing feedyards.  Our risk management office has an average age of 41 and a combined experience of 73 years of futures, options and trading agricultural commodities.  Longevity is essential, but blending youth and new ideas is critical to a company that plans on moving into the future of the industry.

Financial stability is also key.  With so many companies caught up in issues from undercapitalization, to carrying too much debt to mismanagement of cash flows, it is imperative that you do business with someone that will not have a lock on the gate the next morning.  ILS is proud to say that we are in a great financial position to continue to expand and serve your needs.
